www.celemony.com Recording artists and engineers have known about Melodyne for years. For a long time, though, it was only monophonic vocal and instrumental parts that could benefit from Melodyne's much-admired editing algorithms: algorithms capable of everything from minor corrections of intonation to extreme pitch shifting and from the subtle modification of grooves to drastic time stretching. Hi everyone, I am not the creator of this video. I posted this video because i felt like sharing something new when this wonderful software came out and there was no video on Youtube at that time. If you have questions about how to set everything up, please contact the creators. Link below. Thank you. In this video Russ shows users of Pro Tools how to capture audio for processing in Melodyne, then everything from basic tuning right through to creating complex and convincing multi-part harmonies. Теги:avidprotoolsautotunemelodynepitchtricks
Melodyne plugin is fascinating audio software to tune your vocals (with more options and far more natural than Autotune), improve your timing, reshape your melodies and more. A brilliant tool and a real must-have! Теги:Melodyneplug-inpluginAutotunevocalstuningrecordingstudioaudiosoftware
I'd think it would be nice to try to present you with the most plausible way to make a GLaDoS esque voice, as the terminology in the portal audio commentary used reffers to Melodyne functions. If you have a voice that you recorded using a high quelity microphone (important, or else melodyne won't detect your voice pitch), it's very easy to make one yourself. But I use the natureal Ellen Mclain voice from the portal commentary. At the end of the tutorial, I also show you how to make "sarcasm quotes" by glados with the last word "test" :) I forgot to ad this to the totorial but you need to enable "expert tools" in the "view" menu to do the pitch modulation things etc! "What does a stone sound like?" A film portrait of Melodyne inventor Peter Neubäcker The man primarily behind such Celemony innovations as Melodyne, DNA Direct Note Access and Capstan is Peter Neubäcker -- a passionate musician, researcher and inventor, who sets unusual goals for himself and manages even on occasion to realize in practice things that in theory can't be achieved. It was the question "What does a stone sound like?" that led Peter Neubäcker to the invention of Melodyne around 15 years ago. In this interview with Maximilian Schönherr, he airs some of the secrets of Melodyne and offers insights into his thoughts and personal history. He talks about his passion for philosophy, music and mathematics as well as how guitar-making, Johannes Kepler and the science of Harmonics have influenced him. From the conversation, a fascinating 30-minute film portrait has emerged that not only shows one of the most resourceful and multi-facetted personalities in the audio industry but also the background to Celemony innovations. 00:30 -- Music, philosophy and the Numbers 04:25 -- The Monochord, Lambdoma and zero and infinity as the origin of all notes 09:50 -- Grasp and comprehend, chaos and fractals 12:35 -- Programming and guitar-making 16:00 -- Youth, years of quest, and the birth of an interest 21:30 -- The sound of a stone and the idea of Melodyne 24:40 -- DNA Direct Note Access and the legendary roll of bathroom tissue Теги:Peter NeubäckerCelemonyMelodyneinterviewportraitJohannes KeplerCapstanbackstagemonochordlambdomaDNADirect Note Accessdeveloperinventorsoftwaredevelopmentaudiotechnology

Stunning stuff from Celemony. Direct Note Access the new Melodyne dimension Direct Note Access is a technology that makes the impossible possible: for the first time in audio recording history you can identify and edit individual notes within polyphonic audio material. The unique access that Melodyne affords to pitch, timing, note lengths and other parameters of melodic notes will now also be afforded to individual notes within chords.
