But it might be the only way for Linus to see the movie before he dies. So as insane as it sounds, they take Hutch's van and embark on a mission to drive across half the country to the Ranch. That's the basic premise of the movie Fanboys, by Kyle Newman (director) and Adam F. Goldberg (screenwriter), which was shot in New Mexico in 2006. It may at first sound a bit trivial and maybe even a little cheesy, but the things that have been said about it suggest that you shouldn't let yourself be fooled by the simplistic-sounding plot. This rant is intended for fanboys, haters and trolls. if you're offended I guess you're one of the three. I've been meaning to do this video long ago but after all the funny ass comments on my E3 videos I thought it was time. I have no problem with someone's personal preference, opinions or those disagreeing with my thoughts and opinions. my problem is with those fanboys who are blinded by their undying allegiance that they cant see 1) someone elses opinion and put them down for them 2) they believe their products (whatever it may be) are the best and eveyone elses is inferior to theirs. 3) when they're taken advantage of by companies who dont care about them besides the money they spend on their products and they still defend said company. you cant even have a logical discussion with them. they just see things one way with no formal method of interactive, representational argument or debate. there just isn't any reasoning with them what so ever. Hey Fanboys and Fangirls, today we're going sci-fi with a faceoff between two of the Star Wars Universe's most feared villains - none other than Darth Vader and Darth Maul. As you know, these two fearsome fighters never actually appeared together on the big screen, but they have much in common. In addition to being deadly with the lightsaber, both were apprentices of the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, aka Emperor Palpatine. And both were bested by Obi-Won Kenobi, though we think Vader might have gotten off better than Maul. Darth Maul only appeared in episode 1 the phantom menace, but that appearance was arguably one of the only bright spots of the entire film. Like Boba Fett before him, despite having so little screen time, Darth Maul quickly became a favorite among fans. With his devil like appearance, he brought martial arts flare to lightsaber battles that up to then had taken on a more traditional western sword fighting aspect. Speaking of lightsabers, Maul also introduced something Star Wars fans had not seen before - a double-bladed lightsaber. Though the double-bladed lightsaber was ultimately no match for the combined power of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, many a fanboy gleed like a schoolgirl when the double-bladed lightsaber was first revealed.
