"Dakota" is a song by the Welsh band Stereophonics. It was the first single from their fifth studio album Language. Sex. Violence. Other? and was released on February 28, 2005. It was the first Stereophonics single to reach #1 on the UK Singles Chart or to chart on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart. The song spent a total of 20 weeks on the UK singles chart, and it also topped the download chart, remaining on the chart for 22 weeks, half of which were spent in the top 10. The single received good reviews, James Masterton calling it the single of the year. "Dakota" was the first Stereophonics single to achieve success on alternative rock radio stations in the United States, and as such represents their American breakthrough single.[citation needed] Before "Dakota", no Stereophonics single had charted on any rock charts in the US After its release in February, the single steadily gained ground on US alternative rock radio. However, since the Stereophonics lacked a fanbase or previous popular success in America, the single was at a great disadvantage and was initially added to very few station playlists. Nevertheless, the popularity of the song and its championing by such stations as WBCN led "Dakota" slowly to gain airplay and playlist adds across the country over a period of many months. My Neighbor Totoro is a Studio Ghibli animated film that was originally released in 1988 but was re-released by Disney with a new dub on March 2006 (they bought the rights after Fox's expired in 2004). This information was gotten from wikipedia. So... I was looking for this video on youtube recently and couldn't find it. I have only seen the screencaps of it and was very lucky to find it on someone's website a couple of days ago. So this wasn't made by me. My Neighbor Totoro is an amazing cartoon, written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli. It was released in 1988. The english dub by Disney was released in 2005. Previous to that there was a dub done by Fox which I am not familiar with. I have seen the cartoon in japanese with english subtitles. So this little video was very interesting to watch. EDIT! (January 24th 2009): I found the Fox dub for Totoro last week! I couldn't add the link then so I am doing it now :). And the videos were uploaded this month!
