Eric Unger, an openly gay student at Illinois University, as jumped by a group of teenagers and beaten so badly he had to have his jaw wired shut. Unger believes this was a hate crime because of the homophobic slurs his attackers yelled at him. The Police Department disagrees. Who's right? Neha is heartbroken when she learns that Ranjeev is cheating on her. Three months later post her break up, Neha decides to meet Ranjeev for the last time.
