[Full Review: www.mpgomatic.com The 2012 Chevy Sonic is available as either a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback. It can be equipped with either a naturally-aspirated 1.8-liter or a turbocharged 1.4-liter four cylinder engine. The standard 1.8-liter engine produces 138 horsepower (HP) and 125 foot pounds of torque, and can be mated to either a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The turbo 1.4-liter also produces 138 HP but with 148 foot pounds of torque and is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. OK Go set up over 1000 instruments over two miles of desert outside Los Angeles. A Chevy Sonic was outfitted with retractable pneumatic arms designed to play the instruments, and the band recorded this version of Needing/Getting, singing as they played the instrument array with the car. The video took 4 months of preparation and 4 days of shooting and recording. There are no ringers or stand-ins; Damian took stunt driving lessons. Each piano had the lowest octaves tuned to the same note so that they'd play the right note no matter where they were struck.
