How to fight loneliness Smile all the time Shine you teeth til meaningless Sharpen them with lies And whatevers going down Will follow you around Thats how you fight loneliness You laugh at every joke Drag your blanket blindly Fill your heart with smoke And the first thing that you want Will be the last thing you ever need Thats how you fight it Just smile all the time Just smile all the time Just smile all the time Just smile all the time Теги:
During a 1980's session featuring American performer Joe Ely. Wilko brings beastly bassist Norman Watt Roy onto the stage for a solo spot and performs "She does it right". Despite all the gymnastics he turns in a "note perfect" performance, no mean feat. I have been listening to this gentleman for over 35 years and still find it amazing that he can sound like TWO guitars. the drummer is Salvatore "Doc PC" Ramundo, an italian drummer. Thanks to SMGalder78 for this info. Теги:wilcojohnsonshedoesitrighttelecasterfeelgoodnormanwattroy
One of the most important bands from UK in the 70s, Dr.Feelgood's first guitarist Wilko Johnson. This clip is from his first solo tour in Japan, with Norman Watt-Roy form the Blockheads, in the mid of 80s. Since Dr.Feelgood is called the leaders of Punk/New Wave, just like Iggy and the Stooges, their first album, "Down By The Jetty" was a sensational album. In my personal opinion, DBTJ album is more important album than the Clash's first album to me. Unfortunately, the kids in the US don't know about this band much. I think it's because of no distribution of the album in the US back then. I've only seen their second album from CBS/Columbia. Collect me if I'm wrong. By the way Ronnie Yoshiko Fujiyama (from The 5678s)is in the audience in this clip. Теги:Dr.FeelgoodWilkoJohnsonpubrockianduryandtheblockheads
