On this episode of Neutrik techTALK we answer the question; how can I use an XLR or 1/4" stereo plug in the front of my Neutrik Combo, using one cable from the back of my Neutrik Combo Connector to the input of my mixer, console, or other input device? An explanation of solder jumpers is provided with a sample pinout to enable the use of either connector type on the Combo. This is the 3rd of 10 programs in a series featuring the "Top 10 tech support questions received by Neutrik." Теги:neutrikcomboconnectorxlrtechmixersoundinstallationtechtalkepisode

A few nice new products from both Neutrik and Canare at Sydney's SMPTE 2011 trade show. From Canare we've got both solid and stranded (ultra-flexible) versions of some serious HDSDI cable, and from Neutrik we see the preview of True 1 - the next series of PowerCon connector, which sees the ability to not only link males and females without the need for a joiner, but perhaps more significantly - the ability to break under load. Very nice indeed. Big thanks to Amber Technology for lending us Damien Cumberworth, who definitely knows his stuff.
