She achieved "The ...

She achieved "The Fame" around early 2009 so I don't think that's what had affected her. I also think she didn't really screw that much in her performances from last year. It's just that her recent songs don't really suit that kind of intense piano style you hear from her in 2009. If you ask me, she actually improved a lot last year not only as a singer but also as a performer on stage.

Well, for you it may seem pointless because you take everything in literal format, unlike us who read in depth of the general image. The costumes represent the inner 'ugliness' or 'weird' side of you, but its always worn inside of you -hidden- but what she's done is using that inner ugliness, wearing it and still be proud of herself. Thats the true meaning of the costume, not because she wants to use gimmicks to get famous.
