I just read the snide comments below. Don't worry about those sorts of folk; raising song birds is a wonderful hobby, not life or death and not a place to put anyone down. American Singers particularly are prized for creativity! I think your bird is terrific.

I have no problem ...

I have no problem with being told my canary doesn't sing like a fully trained champion show singer, but I never represented him as such. He's not trained to show and learned his song on his own. What I do resent, D smilie or no, is that your initial statement was insulting, frankly, and with no constructive criticism or basis for the slight. Basically it was a pointless statement that helps no one and does nothing but attempt (unsuccessfully) to make a me feel bad about my bird's song.

He does go all over the board at times. I love watershlager's as well, but I have to admit I'm a nut for variety in the song, so this guy really does it for me. Thanks for the comment.
